In this section, we try to provide answers to your most frequently asked questions
Q: What size do my files need to be so I can get a “good” print?
A: This depends on your definition of “good”, but if we settle for a print that doesn’t look too pixilated, we can use 150ppi (pixels per inch) as a minimum. There should be no visible pixilization at 300ppi (good). We print your images at 400 ppi.

Q: Why doesn’t my whole image fit properly in a 4x6 (or what is aspect ratio)?
A: Aspect ratio is the width-to-height relationship of an image. For example, the aspect ratio of 35mm film and 4x6 prints is 2:3 (or 1:1.5). Many DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex)cameras also have an aspect ratio of 2:3 and are suited for 4x6 prints. Most consumer digital cameras use a 3:4 aspect ratio. This aspect ratio would result in parts of the image
being cut off in 4x6 prints, so to print the full frame of these images 4x5.3 is a better size. Our Order system gives you the opportunity to crop, rotate and resize images within different size products.
